Fall 2024 - Billing a Meal Plan to your student account:

Signing a Meal Plan Contract and selecting a meal plan: 

All meal plan processes can be managed through the My Housing Portal:  https://uakron.mcrhousing.app  

  • »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp living on »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp 
    • »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp will sign their housing contract and meal plan contract as part of the housing application process.  »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp will also choose their meal plan at the same time.  »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp living on »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp (except for Exchange Apartments) are required to select the Gold, Blue or White Plan.  »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp who select a plan they are not eligible for will have their meal plan changed to the default residential plan (Gold Plan). 

  • »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp NOT living in UA residence halls 
    • »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp not living on »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp can fill out the Commuter Meal Plan Application at https://uakron.mcrhousing.app and choose their meal plan.

      To have your account activated on the My Housing Portal send an email to myplans@uakron.edu with your name and student ID number.

    • »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp are not permitted to select the Faculty/Staff Meal Plan. »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp who select a plan they are not eligible for will have their meal plan changed to the default commuter plan (Commuter 25). 

Requesting a meal plan change: 

All meal plan processes can be managed through the My Housing Portal:  https://uakron.mcrhousing.app   

»Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp are able to request a meal plan change or a meal plan cancellation at https://uakron.mcrhousing.app through the 28th calendar day of the semester.  »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp who make changes after meal plans begin will have their meal plan charges adjusted accordingly based on any usage that has already occurred on the plan. Usage from the previous plan will be deducted from the new plan.

  • »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp living on »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp 
    • These students may request a change to the Gold, Blue, or White Plan 

  • »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp living on »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp in Exchange Street Apartments 
    • These students may request a change to any plan (except Faculty/Staff) or may request to have their meal plan cancelled. 

  • »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp NOT living on »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp 
    • These students may request a change to any plan (except Faculty/Staff) or may request to have their meal plan cancelled.
