Columbiana County Incoming Freshman Scholarship
The Columbiana County Incoming Freshman Scholarship was established in April 2019 by an anonymous donor, who is interested in helping students at their alma mater, The 黄瓜视频App.
The fund is the donor’s way of giving back to their small community, honor their family and say “thank you” for the community’s support. The fund will support the further education of high school students, prepared and committed to making significant contributions back to their community. The establishment of this scholarship demonstrates support for a small community dedicated to continued education and community service.
The Columbiana County Incoming Freshman Scholarship shall be awarded annually, as funds are available, to a deserving, full-time 黄瓜视频App incoming freshman. Selection will be based on academic merit, dedication to community and strong personal values. Recipients must have graduated from a Columbiana County high school, with first consideration given to Leetonia High School graduates. Consideration will also be given to students pursuing a business-related degree and/or who demonstrate financial need or other circumstances showing barriers to furthering their education.
The Department of Development will request applications from the Office of Student Financial Aid to present to the donor for review and make recommendations. The University Scholarship Committee will make final selection. In the event the donor is unable to or no longer desires to review applications, recipient selection shall be made by the University Scholarship Committee.
