Bowen Jr., Dr. Charles V. Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Charles V. Bowen Jr. Memorial Scholarship was established in 1990 by Molly Bowen and the Summit County Medical Society in memory of Dr. Charles V. Bowen Jr., devoted husband and dedicated physician in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. The scholarship will provide tuition, books, and fees to an undergraduate or graduate nursing student who has expressed an interest in critical care nursing. Qualifying recipients of this scholarship award must demonstrate financial need, have at least a GPA of 2.75 at the undergraduate level, and have a minimum GPA of 3.00 at the graduate level.
