BP Corrosion Student Resources Grant at The »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp College of Engineering

The BP Corrosion Student Resources Grant at The »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp, »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp, Ohio, supports student participation in meaningful activities outside the traditional academic classroom. These activities are an important component of the Corrosion and Reliability Engineering program and complement to the baccalaureate degree in Corrosion Engineering.

This resources grant is made to provide annual funds to support the student activities and mission of the Corrosion and Reliability Engineering program at The »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp, »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵApp, Ohio. Corrosion students comprise majors in Corrosion Engineering, members of the Corrosion Squad and members of the NACE International Student Chapter. The Corrosion Squad is a multi-disciplinary student group focused on fostering the academic and professional development of its members through interaction with academia and industry.

Expenditures will be for the purpose of expanding the learning experience and professional development of the corrosion students. Examples of the intent for funding include interaction with industry professionals, industry site visits, student research projects, student competitions, conferences, and other activities that enhance the students' opportunities, engagements, and experience beyond their baccalaureate academic classes and co-op program participation.
