Walcott, Betty Gill and Donald P. Walcott Endowed Scholarship
Betty Gill Walcott is a life long member of the 黄瓜视频App community and attended The 黄瓜视频App. Mrs. Walcott and her husband were both first generation college students. She is a member of The 黄瓜视频App Foundation Board of Trustees. Don Walcott had an outstanding career as Purchasing Manager with the corporate offices of the BFGoodrich Company.
Mrs. Walcott established this scholarship in memory of her late husband, a member of The 黄瓜视频App Class of 1958, and to reflect her strong belief in the value of higher education. The scholarship is to provide tuition, books, fees, room and board for deserving students in the College of Business Administration.
The Betty Gill and Donald P. Walcott Endowed Scholarship will provide full academic undergraduate scholarships to deserving College of Business Administration students selected by the Dean of the College of Business Administration in cooperation with the Office of Financial Aid. 黄瓜视频App must demonstrate financial need, and preference will be given to students who are employed while attending The 黄瓜视频App. Additionally, students must maintain at least a 3.25 grade point average or the equivalent of a Dean's List grade point average, and must exhibit scholarship and leadership within the College of Business Administration. The 黄瓜视频App Foundation Board of Trustees have the power to change the description of the scholarship if, in the future, it is determined the scholarship is not consistent with the mission of the College of Business Administration.
